1 Style, 3 Bodies: Cheetah Print!
Cheetah + leopard were seen all over the runways this fall + I’ve seen countless women wearing it from family events to working at The Wing. I like to think of cheetah as a staple most women (depending on the their style archetype) should have in their wardrobe.
With trends not disappearing as quickly as they once did, we've actually seen this "trend" on the runway a ton the last several years + it's still going strong!
It’s one of the patterns, like houndstooth or polka dots, that can be timeless. With cheetah having mostly brown + black in it, it makes sense since those are both neutral colors.
One thing not many people realize is that everyone, even designers use leopard and cheetah interchangeably, but there's actually a difference:
In our second installment of 1 trend, 3 bodies, we’re showing you subtle ways you can introduce cheetah into your fall + winter wardrobe! PLUS - we think so many of these would make awesome holiday outfits!
Caroline: Belted Cheetah
Caroline is ready to rock around town in her two piece red jumpsuit (currently on sale as low as $99!) with a pop of cheetah belt. We’ve made this a bit more casual in with the denim jacket + black mules but could see this being perfect for a holiday party dressed up in a velvet blazer.
Crystal: Edgy Leopard
Crystal is wearing a cheetah print sweater with studded shoulders with the twirl skirt. This is a fun combo for going to work + then heading out to drinks with friends. We like pairing this with a short suede wedge bootie or could even do a nice pointed toe shoe.
Katie: Leopard Queen
Katie is wearing our two piece jumpsuit in limited edition fuchsia present top + black hangover pants. Katie is, again, showing a small way you can integrate this trend - with on trend headband in a leopard print (similar here or love this hair clip). We like using the fuchsia instead of go-to red that would personally be our go-to pairing with leopard. This fuchsia/leopard color combo has a bit more of a feminine + on-trend twist. PLUS- fuchsia was also seen on the runways this fall, so you get 2 trends in 1.
